Too Sweet, Wingman, Bradman and Omega Boy all worked in pleasing fashion right-handed at Awapuni on Tuesday morning.

Fast work was held on the middle of the course proper or on the plough. Poor light at the beginning of the session hindered some timing on the course proper.

Too Sweet and Wingman went right-handed together and covered 1000m, the final 800m in 48.7, the last 600 in 36.2, and both horses head to Tauranga on Saturday.

Their stablemate Bradman had Didham-trained gelding Omega Boy for a partner over a similar task, ending with 800m in 49.6, the last 600 in 36.3. The Tauranga meeting is on the radar for Omega Boy too.

Hello My Dear was timed 800m in 50.9, the last 600 in 36.7, and throughout the gallop was followed some lengths away by stablemate Loose Jewels, who ended with 36.8.

Coulthard and Platinum Tyche ran 1000m together in 1.5.9, the last 600 in 37.4, and their stablemates Connello and Oklahoma clocked 1.6.2 and 37.6.

Thrilling and Damiano, two more from the Lisa Latta barn, matched strides over 1000m in 1.6.7, the last 600 in 37.9, while Pinafore and unraced four-year-old Pippasjewel (by Proisir) took 1.7.2 and 37.7.

Lantern Way and Platinum Goddess left 1000m behind in 1.8.4, the last 600 in 37.2, while Jesko and Fourty Eight, building up for the jumping season, ended with 37.3.

Last-start Trentham winner Furiosa had stablemate Kawatiri alongside over 800m in 51.9, the last 600 in 37 seconds even.

London, another last-start winner, and So We Go covered 800m in 54.7, the last 600 in 38.3, while their stablemates, unraced three-year-old Cover Story and unraced two-year-old Suzie Que took 54.8 and 38.1.

The Scunner, freshened since his distant last in the Thorndon Mile in mid-January, ended with 600m in 40.8, while Platinum Pantheon, entered for Tauranga, and Platinum Sixty Six took 41.1.

On the plough, Super Gold did a quiet round before galloping 1000m in 1.6.8, with the final 800m taking 52.1, the last 600 in 38.7. Donnybrook and Sevenayes followed straight after with 1.7.2 and 52.7, the last 600 in 38.8.
