Intention was the last to use the course proper and had unraced stablemate Amiria for a partner over 800m in 49.7, the last 600 in 34.9.

Intention has not raced since finishing unplaced in the 2000 Guineas on a wet track in November. She will head to the Foxton trials next Tuesday. 

Amiria (Per Incanto-Heni) is a three-year-old filly with a trial win at Waverley in September on the books and a second at the Foxton trials two weeks ago.

Dazz from the Gray stable was another to work solidly, covering 1000m in 1.7.9, the last 600 in 34.8, and he finished fourth at Trentham last start.

His stablemate Albarossa was timed 1000m in 1.8.1, the last 600 in 35.4, and So We Go, third at Tauherenikau over New Year, ran 800m in 50.8, the last 600 in 35.7.

Saturday's Wellington entrant Knickerless (r65 2100m) left 1000m behind in 1.7.6, the last 600 in 36.9, and Pepeha recorded 1.8.4 and 36.5.

Chumbo (by Per Incanto) and Assist (by Contributer), both in the Didham barn, matched strides over 1000m in 1.10.3, sprinting home the last 600 in 36.2, while Bradman cruised over 800m in 51.9 and 36.4.

Wellington Cup entrant Manzor Blue and stablemate Platinum Goddess (Rimutaka Classic) were paired over 1000m, being timed the final 800m in 51.6, the last 600 in 37 seconds even.

McKhan worked alone over 1000m in 1.8.3, the last 600 in 37.6, with his stablemate Derrick following some lengths away throughout in 1.8.9 and 38.1.

Donnybrook and Sevenayes were locked together over 1000m in 1.10.3, with the final 800m taking 52.8, the last 600 in 37.4. Tears Of Victory went alone in 1.11.6 and 52.9, the last 600 in 37.1.

Wellington prospect Hoorah Henry (MAAT 1600m) had Coney Island alongside over 1000m in 1.8.6, the last 600 in 38.7.

Their stablemates The Explosive (Lowland Stakes) and unraced three-year-old filly Heartofaces (by Ace High) went 1200m in 1.12.1, the last 600 in 38 seconds even.

Unraced three-year-old filly London (by Capitalist) ran 800m in 53.4, the last 600 in 38.9. She is trained by the Gray partnership and boasts two recent trial placings.

Timex ended with 600m in 42.6, while Sweetest Thing clocked 44.1; Jacobite Rising, Epitome and Punisher went together in 45.3.

On the plough, Keeping Time and a Contributer gelding ended with 600m in 37.2, while their stablemates Ribella Rose and Ocean Melody went 800m in 55.1, the last 600 in 39.6.

Call A Friend was timed 1000m in 1.14.4, the last 600 in 39.7, and fellow Wellington Cup acceptor Be Real ended two and half quiet rounds with a 600m dash in 42.9.

Crouch (Wellington Cup) and French Doll (Douro Cup) ended with 600m in 44.2, and Afterthought took 45.5.
