Dubai's Potiki and Silver Salute, working late in the session, used the course proper and reeled off 1000m in 1.6.1, with the final 800m taking 51.1, the last 600 in 37 seconds even.

Dubai's Potiki scored at New Plymouth a month ago, but since then has finished second in a Levin jump-out plus won a Foxton trial. Silver Salute, building nicely in a new campaign, has not raced since February.

Matthew Eales-trained maidens Sandbar (by Circus Maximus) and Audax (by The Bold One) were paired over 800m in 51 seconds even, the last 600 in 36.6. Their stablemates Furiosa and unraced four-year-old Segreto (by Unusual Suspect) took 51.5 and 36.1.

In separate gallops, top sprinters Farravallo and Platinum Attack ended with 600m in 36.8 and 37.8 respectively.

Sloane Square, whose recent racing has been over hurdles, caught the eye with his 1000m in 1.5.5, finishing with 800m in 52.1, the last 600 in 37.9.

Came True and unraced three-year-old Woolf (by Tivaci), both from Chrissy Bambry's Foxton stable, ran 1000m in 1.7.3, the last 600 in 37.6, while Weneedashock and unraced four-year-old New York (by Ribchester) recorded 1.7.4 and 37.3.

Cremant, Brutiful Lass and Hoorah Henry all went together over 1000m in 1.7.7, the last 600 in 37.5, with Wonderboy and Ride The Tide running 1.7.8 and 37.9.

Last-start maiden winner Carlow covered 1000m in 1.8.1, the last 600 in 37.7, while her unraced stablemates Sweys Charm (by Sweynesse) and Bellass (by Time Test) were almost identical with 1.8.1 even, and 37.9.

I Toldyou (by Ribchester) and Aim To Miss (by Derryn), an unraced duo trained by Roydon Bergerson, ran 1000m in 1.8.7, the last 600 in 37.2.

Platinum Sixty Six and Perfect Test matched strides over 1000m in 1.9.1, the last 600 in 37.3, while High Rock, not seen since April, and unraced four-year-old Rangitoto (by Reliable Man), two more from the Bergerson barn, went 1.9.4 and 37.5.

Last-start winner Pistachio had Charmstruck for a partner over 1000m in 1.10.4, the last 600 in 37.4. Charmstruck has not raced since Waitangi Day.

Their stablemates She's A Weapon and Summer Flyer were timed 800m in 52 seconds even, the last 600 in 37 seconds even, while smart mare War Princess and unraced four-year-old The Loose Moose (by Ace High) took 52 seconds even and 37.9.

Vahvay and Omega Boy left 800m behind in 52.1, the last 600 in 37.4, and last-start Polytrack Championship winner Kereti went alone in 55.6 and 37.8.

Pinkerton and Wind Talker were paired over 1000m in 1.6.3, the last 600 in 38.3, while their stablemates Sweettest, a Foxton trial last week, and Rocking Light took 1.9.2 and 38.9.

Super Flash was not after time over 1000m in 1.15.1, the last 600 in 40 seconds even, and Keepz Occurring clocked 1.14.9 and 41.4.

Smart four-year-old mare Intention and Cassius The Colt, unplaced on debut, ended with 600m in 41.2, East End Lad 41.6, and Showbastian Coe 41.7.

Cassius The Colt will have blinkers added to the gear on Thursday, while Showbastian Coe will have blinkers off. Side Winkers will replace blinkers for East End Lad.

On the plough, Sax Appeal ran 800m in 57.8, the last 600 in 40.6, and has not been seen since late autumn. Popinjay and Al Passo ended with 42.7.

On the synthetic track, unraced four-year-old Komprezor (by Almanzor) and an Ocean Park filly ran 800m in 57.4, the last 600 in 41.1.
